The civic agenda is broader than simply the relationship between a university and its civic environment. With this cluster, we build on and broaden the work at UCLan that has focussed on The Civic University. Our work seeks to make sense of relationships between people and place and to develop understandings of power relationships within civil society. Aiming to find equitable, democratic and inclusive solutions, we co-produce research with civil society partners and stakeholders.
